Buying an Apartment in Crete – Current Listings

If you’re looking to buy an apartment, you should first clearly define your preferences and priorities: location, size, number of rooms, lot, and budget. You can’t change the location—so be sure to define your search radius precisely (commute, schools, amenities)—while remaining flexible when it comes to the apartment’s features. Through VON POLL REAL ESTATE, you can create a personalized search profile and will be automatically notified as soon as a suitable apartment becomes available. With a financing certificate, you can demonstrate your creditworthiness and gain a competitive edge.

The path to owning your own apartment can start in different ways—through a personalized search profile with automatic notifications, through our online listings and bulletin board postings, or quite spontaneously when you come across an apartment that catches your eye. Once you’ve found an interesting property, you’ll schedule a viewing and review the documents—for condominiums, these include, among other things, an extract from the land registry, the declaration of division, the operating budget, and minutes from owners’ meetings. After negotiating the purchase price, the purchase agreement is notarized; ownership is transferred to you upon registration in the land registry. The independent real estate professionals at VON POLL REAL ESTATE guide you through the entire process—from property selection to the notary appointment—and, upon request, arrange suitable financing.

The value of a condominium depends primarily on its location, size, condition, year of construction, and amenities. A well-founded appraisal is the basis for a realistic purchase or sale price. VON POLL REAL ESTATE offers you a free, no-obligation real estate appraisal by local professionals who know the local market inside and out. This gives you a reliable assessment—whether you’re buying, selling, or simply looking to get a sense of the market.
