Funding opportunities for tourism investments in Puglia

The Puglia region offers attractive subsidies for accommodation establishments, with grants of up to 50% of eligible expenditure. The "PIA Turismo" program, for example, supports productive investments by small businesses and covers up to half of the investment costs.

Another initiative is "MiniPIA Turismo", which promotes the expansion, modernization and renovation of properties for tourism and hotel purposes. Here, the subsidy amounts to up to 35% of the productive investment (depending on the size of the company) and up to 50% for other types of measures.

At national level, the Italian Ministry of Tourism has also introduced the "FRI-Tur" program with a budget of 1.38 billion euros to improve the quality of Italian accommodation establishments. This funding has been available since January 30, 2023.
