As a further measure, we heat with district heating and receive electricity from hydropower, as this is CO²-neutral, renewable and decentrally generated energy - exclusively from our regional supplier. This means we use one hundred percent electricity from plants in our home region.
We are also delighted to have moved into a new, energy-efficient office building built to the latest standards in fall 2020. Thanks to our contributions to the CO² compensation fund of Klima-Kollekte gemeinnützige GmbH, we keep an eye on our transport-related emissions, offset them and can support meaningful projects in developing countries at the same time.
