Building Description
Originally part of the agricultural land belonging to the famous Villa Ca' Dotta, this residence is the result of the skilful renovation of the "hunting lodge" of the Paduan noble family: the Dotto dei Dauli. This family, which even boasts Trojan origins, counts among its ancestors one of the Paduan consuls who founded Venice in the year 421.

Historical research dates back to the mid-15th century, the first official documents relating to the real estate operations carried out by the rich Paduan family, on the land inherited from the famous Proti family of Vicenza, and the first construction of this unit dates back to the 1600s with subsequent expansion in the 1800s.

The hunting lodge was originally built as a rural residential building for the hunting activities of the aristocratic family aggregated in 1081 to the Noble Council of Padua by King Henry IV of Franconia.

Today this property, wisely restored in the 90s, looks like a magnificent single Venetian Villa and boasts a wonderful park with an Italian garden, rich in flowers, plants, fountains and fruit trees.

Already from the main entrance door of the Villa you can perceive the attention to detail used during the renovation of the Villa: the abundance of fine marble used for the floor or as ornaments on the walls and in the bathrooms, the antique doors, and the various effigies and frescoes, are just some of the elements that give an aura of splendor and nobility to the whole property.

The spaces on the ground floor consist of a generously sized kitchen with corner fireplace, dining room, two living rooms and a party room with another central fireplace.

A large side porch, allows access to the house through the rooms, or directly to the party room, without necessarily having to disturb the intimacy of the house and the owners.

The Villa is located at the foot of the original estate of the Dotto dei Dauli family in Sarcedo, of which it was part as a "hunting lodge" and whose main Villa can be seen on the slopes of the hill to the rear.

The centre of the town of Thiene, a popular independent community in the Alto Vicentino, and equipped with all the main services, including a state-of-the-art hospital, is less than 10 minutes away by car. The motorway exit of Thiene and the access to the new "pedemontana", respectively 10 and 5 minutes away, make the house interconnected with the whole north of Italy and with the main cities of our territory.

In the background, the town of Sarcedo, whose center can be reached in three minutes and the hills that slowly rise to reach the Asiago Plateau.
