The residential complex was awarded a prize by the Association of German Architects, among others, for its clear design and the use of predominantly brick. The open-plan walkways, which extend through all floors and the entire complex, are a unique feature. The old flooring has already been removed, allowing residents to choose their preferred flooring. Ample bicycle storage is available. Two elevators serve the entire complex. A unique feature is the guest hotel, where residents can stay for a nominal fee (currently €20 per night for a single apartment including final cleaning and €25 per night for a double room including final cleaning). A laundry room with two washing machines, two dryers, and a mangle is located in the basement. This facility has proven very useful, saving many households time and money. Use of the laundry facilities is token-based. An open barbecue area, which is very popular with all residents, is also available. For wellness and fitness, a communal pool and sauna are available.
